We all have mental health needs.

The Dispute Resolution in Mental Health Initiative (DRMH Initiative) brings conflict resolution tools to all kinds of mental health stakeholders. We help people talk about mental health, address challenging behaviors, and resolve conflicts. Anyone can sign up for a free account to access our full library of free resources.

The DRMH Initiative was originally a project of the CUNY Dispute Resolution Center at John Jay College and MH Mediate, made possible with a series of grants from the American Arbitration Association’s AAA-ICDR Foundation (which included funding for our websites for over a decade, lasting through 2031).

Now, the DRMH Initiative is operated exclusively by MH Mediate’s Mental Health Safe Project. It has been expanded to also include additional free resources supported by other funders including the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), and others.
